The Shrine of Universal Living Spirit (SOULS) is located in Kirbyville, Texas - a small, East Texas town near the Louisiana border.
S.O.U.L.S. received recognition by The Correllian Nativist Church July 9, Year 5 Aquarius (2005). Shrine Keeper, Rev. Edana Winema, began her clerical studies in 2003 and became legally ordained as a First Degree Priestess of the Correllian Tradition in 2005. She is currently working on completing Second Degree studies.
Her current affiliations within the Correllian Tradition also include: Order of the Paladins, Distance Shrine of Gaia, and Distance Shrine of the Crystal Web.
Her related interests and activities include gardening, herbalism, energy work, spellcrafting and ritual, healing and alternative therapies, crystals and gemstones, divination, candle magick, ongoing study of nature based religious belief and practice, Spiritualism, Shamanism, Druid and Pagan history.
Rev. Edana’s long range goals include the development of The Shrine of Universal Spirit, which now functions as a Personal Shrine and Study Group, into a Formal Shrine of The Correllian Tradition.
She aims to provide classes, services and a place of worship for those who wish to learn more about The Correllian Tradition, nature-based religions, and the wisdom and truths of our ancestors. A place for those who wish to honor Spirit in an open, accepting forum; where one is free to explore and discover their individual relationship with Spirit in order to truly follow a Spiritual Path and strengthen their innate spiritual gifts and abilities. |
